My Pen In The Name Of Christ

Jennifer Abubakar Chiumbo is a successful writer of Christian fiction. With a published book under her belt, she is one of the candidate recipients of the Young Christian Writing Awards. Writers between 18 – 32 years of age are welcome to enter the competition.

She has already received a similar award for her work. She claims to be inspired by her father, a preacher who has been all over the globe to share the word. He currently devotes his time to his local ministry, evangelizing anyone who wishes to be enlightened. He would love to have Jennifer by his side and eventually taking on his role in his place fulltime but he also admits that she has done him proud with her writing, her own form of preaching.

Jennifer Abubakar writes fiction with a strong sense of morality. Nothing like the in-your-face literature of the Bible but it has the same effect. She presents key lessons in life through poetic prose. Her missionary work, which doubles as research material, ensures her readers of zero corruption in the moral lessons that she imparts, it is as good as reading directly from the bible itself. Her manner of writing convinces you that she knows what she is talking about. Fact, sprinkled with her own take on individual lessons guarantees her grip on her young audience who will never get a moment of weakness among corrupt beings of daily life.

Awardee wins a book deal with a prestigious publisher and £10,000.
